It's that kind of day here in Maine

Apple Bread Pudding

Ingredients:

8 To 9 pieces white or cinnamon bread
4 tb Butter
3 Apples, assorted
2 tb Lemon juice
1 tb Grated lemon rind
1/2 cup To 1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
1 cup Apple juice
1/2 cup raisins
Instructions:
Spread bread with butter
Cut bread into chunks.
Place all ingredients in the slow cooker
Set slow cooker on low and allow to cook for 5 to 6 hours.
Gently stir halfway through cooking process.
